for those of you living in the “burbs” and have access to the supposedly amazing verizon fios internet and tv, you will be excited to learn that the new fios app is available in the android market for free.
the fios app gives you access to your home dvr, shows current tv listings to set recording times, and even allows you to update parental controls.
since i don’t have fios, i can’t go off on some tangent or video review, but i will say that the early comments regarding the app are pretty intriguing.
and for those of you with fios, go download this app and tell me what you think!

It's a little slow to log in but is a great app to have. Find in it really handy for starting recordings when 1. Not at home but here or remember there is a show I want to record on, 2. Watching a show on a different TV than the DVR – I don't have to walk through the house to start the recorder. I've had FIOS for awhile now and it's been great. Far superior to any other option available in my area.
