Kellen

It’s not often that you get to merge personal passions into a professional life, but that’s what Kellen did when he launched Droid Life in 2009. After working years of unsatisfying jobs in the medical and property management fields, he took a risk to try and create an online community while playing with the coolest gadgets on the planet each day, a risk that has turned out to be incredibly rewarding. Outside of Droid Life, Kellen is your typical Portlander who drinks way too much good beer, complains often about the Trail Blazers, and can be found out on the streets for a run, rain or shine.

  • I would have thought it a great marketing opportunity that Firefox 2 for Mobile happens to be using the same version number as the shared base Gecko engine: 2.0!

  • I used to think that multitouch was a big deal, but now that ive used tap to zoom i honestly think its better. Multitouch is nice to have if you cant quite hit that link, but by no means a dealbreaker for me.

All i care about is the auto-width formatting of the tezt when you zoom in and out and tilt the screen. I would also like the htc touch virtual keyboard to have multitouch, but thats a different discussion.

  • Didn't anyone find a newer version, the one on the old post does not work on my Droid?

  • My question has nothing to do with this but why's the video quality not so good when u play youtube videos? Its never full screen?

  • speaking of web browsing, when will we be able to load some sort of flash player on our droids? Adobe would be real nice.

  • Looks like this has has potential, especially if it has pinch zoom. Can't be worse than Opera Mini though…

  • I have to agree. If it will not include multi-touch when its released then I don't see it becoming very popular. I definitely wont download it if it doesn't. Definitely looks a lot smoother though.
