  • I went and talked to the VZW dude one day, and asked him whether it would be worthwhile, and what would be covered. Then I thanked him and left.
It would be good for someone who had never experienced a smartphone. just how to sync, email, contacts, mms, etc. They didn't have a section on rooting. 🙂

  • I attended one. They are very very beginner for people who have Rooted. For someone who has just got the Droid and isn't very good with technology, it's helpful. The technician who ran this Droid class here in San Luis Obispo, Ca. was very informative. He wasn't good at staying on track though. the 8 or 10 people that were there all had random questions about various things, so the topics of where settings are located, to how to use navigation. It was all over the place, so even the new users of the Droid seemed very confused. I ended up staying past the 11am-12:30pm on Sunday time helping people with their Droids. The avg age of the crowd was 40-60… myself being only 32.

  • i think someone with a rooted phone should show up there 🙂 an see how that goes … LOL

    • “Oh yeah, you should just go to ROM mana…. aw nevermind, oh wait you can change that by going to terminal em…. oh wait you can't do that either”
