After the launch of the Droid X yesterday, it also made an appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s show last night courtesy of Joshua Topolsky (Engadget Editor) to battle the iPhone 4. Not that we’re Fallon lovers, but he did profess his newly found love of Android and admitted he will not be getting the new version of the enemy phone…

HAHA. For a phone that is supposed to suck. On a carrier that sucks. It’s funny how hard Droid is trying to beat it. What’s that? Apple released the iPad and Android will be on a tablet. Follow the leader.

right….well. Here's what matters, Android's still in infancy, maybe even toddlerism or early youth. It's on the rise, and will topple the puny fruit….in time.
He did mention that the FaceTalk is wifi only, but the audience was so loud as soon as he brought up the Iphone 🙁 . And I watched video on my Droid with wifi on and was choppy. Some other sites video show just fine, this one was choppy. Good looks tho
I hate how Engadget always favors the iphone!!! He didn't talk about any of the droid's features that the iphone doesn't have: HDMI out would have been cool to show, the better camera, show more of the screen difference, swype, etc. Instead he showed off FaceTime for iphone, didn't tell them it was wifi only and that it has been done a couple of times before, definitely not new
Yeah, Jimmy is hard on iPhone – seen him dis Android before. But then again, Jimmy is not very tech savvy and that's the Apple's target user.
The endgadget guy tries to get the point that Android is a better system, then it's all apple and severely limited face-talk thing. It was a little sickening.
The funny part is that I had something for my omina that would allow the front camera to be used in a video chat. Obviously the iPhone one is better but it still nothing new. I wonder when Jobs is going to be found out that he is trying to get people to buy more useless stuff each time.

I don't know what people are talking about but the Droid X does not look big. I heard so much on how big the EVO 4G is and when I finally got my hands on it, it was fine. And if the Droid X is a tad bigger and I can work with that. I think people are making to much of it.
Jimmy's a major geek and iphone fanboy. when did he say he wouldn't get the iphone? he seems pretty enamored.
At about 2:20, he says that if AT&T can't fix their crappy network, he would go to Droid.

I love how he said the iPhones reception is better than before when they did an article on when you hold the phone, you lose signal and even when you don't touch it it sometimes is less than the 3Gs.
