You have to admit that this gaming craze sweeping the Android nation has been pretty exciting to watch. Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja are everywhere! Today, both received some minor updates, but being two of the most popular games in Android history after a few short days/weeks, figured you might want to know.
The Angry Birds update simply takes it to “beta 2” and as far as we can tell is just a bug fixer. There are no additional levels, no “white eagle”, and a reminder from Rovio that his is just a “beta.” The full version of the game is still at least a week away, so just be patient and enjoy what we’ve got.
Fruit Ninja on the other hand now allows for SD card storage! Good news for those application hogs who don’t have build in gig’s of storage. And on a related note, Fruit Ninja and some of the other games from OpenFeint have climbed the charts in the paid apps section. Definitely a good sign, and proof that Android users are quite as cheap as many proclaim.

I hate it when Apple Fanboys say that Android users are cheap! I disagree with their statements. If the product is good and the price is right, I don't have a problem paying for the app. Good example would be Angry Birds, I would purchase that game in a heart beat. The same goes for Fruit Ninja…… I hope all the good games keep on coming out….. Android Rules!
I'm glad Fruit Ninja added apps2sd support, I have a Droid 1 and run out of room quickly… especially after purchasing all of the Open Feint games this week… Angry Birds doesnt seem to have many changes as far as performance, on my phone atleast.
Who are you asking to fix it? Kellex? Or the Dev is going to stumble upon your comment? Just checking…

I think Birds has been updated for SD support as well. I had to uninstall it to fit Fruit Ninja (until this last update) and now I have them both on SD. It actually installed on SD by default (didn't have to manually move) which was nice. Shame that when I re-installed it wiped all my previous scores and 3-star wins for every frikkin-level…
I can't install it on my D1 running Simply Stunning 4.7. Anyone else having my bad luck?
You consider this, “Gaming?” If Uncharted 2 or Killzone 2 came out for Android, that would be gaming.

Yeah it works great on my buddies Dinc too. He had to restart it a couple of times at first.
I was all excited seeing this email this morning but when I updated I saw no new levels. So needless to say I was very sad. Im tired of my iphone friends having all these cool levels.

Come on Angry Birds, by the time you give us new levels to try we'll all have moved on to the next game.
There won't be any more levels until you can buy it.. it's a free beta that they weren't even going to release.

Can't see Fruit Ninja… Build.prop issue for me? 2.2 leak on DX.
Yup, installed one of the market fixing build.prop's in ROM Manager to get it all back.

yeah, ive been trying it out for the las 20 minutes and while it does seem to play smoother there's no freakin new levels 🙁
