Opera is releasing a tablet-specific browser in the near future and they just previewed it on Youtube and their blog. The plan is for them to show an in-depth look during CES this week, but as many companies are doing in the days leading up, decided to tease the heck out of us with it. All I can say, is this version of Opera blows away the stock browser on the Galaxy Tab (review), so this is exciting news.

Color me unimpressed- there is nothing in there that’s specific to a tablet or even noticably different from Opera Mobile. Seriously guys, show us something when there *is* something to show :/.
if anyone is looking for a good low priced 10inch tablet now I highly recommend the Archos 101, I have had one now for a couple of weeks and could not be happier with it, it is great, especially for 299

I just downloaded Opera Mobile for my Tab (and it looks exactly like that video preview). Not certain what the deal is. I like the home page with snapshots of sites, but the default text size is too small, and for the life of me I can’t even figure out how to change that in it. And when you tap on a hyper link it is not particularly responsive.
So far, I’d say Dolphin HD is a better browser.
Ummm did I miss something here. That video was not even a sneak peek of the product.
