It’s not often that you get to merge personal passions into a professional life, but that’s what Kellen did when he launched Droid Life in 2009. After working years of unsatisfying jobs in the medical and property management fields, he took a risk to try and create an online community while playing with the coolest gadgets on the planet each day, a risk that has turned out to be incredibly rewarding. Outside of Droid Life, Kellen is your typical Portlander who drinks way too much good beer, complains often about the Trail Blazers, and can be found out on the streets for a run, rain or shine.

  • This phone is something i wish my phone was. But i wouldn’t buy it. If anybody knows what i mean.

  • For those wondering if the Incredible thats coming to the US will have the FFC, take a look at this screenshot and see for yourself, the top right corner shows the same cutout as on the Incredible S. Also, this is the same screenshot that was leaked to confirm the Incredible 2, with the Silver rim and BLACK (NOT WHITE) contoured back. If its anything to go by, when the Incredible first leaked last year around February – January, it had an ugly brownish/orange cover, the final backs are not always present on test devices, its also how they track who leaks what (i believe that in theory anyway about the leak control). but in this screenshot, its NOT white, and this is the Verizon version. 🙂 http://pocketnow.com/html/portal/news/0000014560//verizon_no_button.jpg Remember, White is for Apple not for Android

  • This phone is definitely something I’d want. As long as it’s heavier than my Dinc, because my Dinc really feels too light to me.

    I’d almost like the Desire S better though, because it seems more my size.

  • So if those soft buttons at the bottom are actually on a display shouldn’t that mean that they would be easily re-mappable…? Just saying, could be some fun rooting activity involved with that.

  • Sad news By the way Lucas Films is wanting more money from Verizon, no more droid branding around summer when the contract is up. This will break in a few days. Might want to snatch android-life.com – Engadget just posted and then deleated the OG post. Keep looking today or a few more.

  • I wish someone would just start the revolution of video calling instead of normal calling. I seriously hate holding a phone up to my ear while talking to people and not being able to see them face to face. And I know in 5 years people will be video calling much more than actual calling. So why is everyone so hesitant to put in front facing cameras?

  • This one is missing the silver banding around the edge. Maybe the VZW release will be a bit different.

  • If it was LTE/4G then they may have something, but without that or a dual core, not much to sing about here…

    • This is actually a good phone, not an awesome but, it’s also a Global phone, I only hope that the Verizon version has LTE, VoLTE, a better processor and Gingerbread out of the box.

      Guys keep in mind that this processor even though it says 1GHZ, it’s a newer processor with Adreno Graphics or GPU if I’m not mistaken.
