Verizon’s exclusive on the Galaxy Nexus here in the U.S. may be coming to an end as early as next week if this new Sprint advertisement is to be believed. We are assuming that it was not supposed to go live until CES actually kicked off, but as always before the biggest tech event of the year, someone slips up. This time it just so happened to be whoever it is that Sprint uses for an ad network. You can tell this is a CES-centric ad by the “CES Live Feed” note at the bottom of this CNET page.
One interesting thing to note here, is the “1.5GHz dual-core processor.” Both the GSM and Verizon LTE versions are clocked at 1.2GHz, so we aren’t sure if the ad above is wrong or if the OMAP4460 is finally ready to rock at 1.5GHz. We should know more next week.
