Deal: Movo Wave is an Inexpensive Fitness Tracker at $24.99

If I asked you to name as many fitness trackers as you could, I would imagine the list would have at least a dozen names on it. If I asked you to name fitness trackers that were under $50, that list will likely be much shorter. You see, fitness trackers are all the rage these days, but that also means that companies are still charging a premium for them. For example, the current Fitbit line starts at around $100. That might be too expensive for someone looking to test the waters of fitness tracking for the first time.

For those who want something inexpensive, consider the Movo Wave, which is available in the DL Deals store for just $24.99. This is not going to be the ultimate fitness tracker. Let’s be honest. But, it will track your steps, distance, and calories burned when exercising. It has a companion app that is free, plus there is a web interface for viewing progress from your computer. It’s water resistant. You can swap out colors to personalize it a bit. And finally, it should last you at least a couple of weeks on a single charge.

If you are looking for a start in fitness tracking, but don’t want to spend a ton of cash, this might be a solid option.

Kellen

It’s not often that you get to merge personal passions into a professional life, but that’s what Kellen did when he launched Droid Life in 2009. After working years of unsatisfying jobs in the medical and property management fields, he took a risk to try and create an online community while playing with the coolest gadgets on the planet each day, a risk that has turned out to be incredibly rewarding. Outside of Droid Life, Kellen is your typical Portlander who drinks way too much good beer, complains often about the Trail Blazers, and can be found out on the streets for a run, rain or shine.
