Buyer beware. I had this exact charger in my Expedition and it caught fire. Was plugged in to nothing but the 12v power port. Luckily we were just getting in the truck as it caught fire and was able to deal with it – if we were 5 mins later, truck could have been a loss.
Glad you didn’t lose your vehicle, and good heads up on the apparent lack of quality of this product.

what about a cheap but good type c usb for the lg v20..want it to fast charge in car? that one guy that reviewed stopped reviewing newer stuff..any help is appreciated
I use an Aukey QC 3 USB A car charger and a quality USB A to USB C cable. It fast charges perfectly.
My question is….how much of a difference would I see going from QC 2.0 to this? I have the LG V20, and I already have multiple QC 2.0 chargers and I hate to spend money on these if I’m not going to see a noticeable difference.

I have quite a few different products from them and have had zero issues, be it car charger, wall charger, portable battery or cables. What issues have you had?

Would this quick-charge a Nexus 6P or it needs to be USB-C
you need direct USB-C. Google Store has one for sale but it’s pricey. be careful of non-approved-by-Google USB-C car chargers.
You can use a A-C cable and this provides 2.4 amps which should fast charge. I have a QC2.0 version of this and it works for both my Nexus 5X and Pixel XL.
i believe A-C maxes out at 1.5A. you certainly won’t get 2.4A.

It’s not “rapid charging” per the Google spec. It’s not even close.
I use my micro to C cable that came with my pixel XL in my aukey 2.0 charger and it states it is “charging rapidly”
When are we going to start getting type C chargers at this price?

I think you should probably assume that USB-C is the reason these chargers are so cheap. You’ll see fewer and fewer of these chargers in USB-A and more and more in USB-C

I would think so. Mine quick-charged my Droid Turbo.
