T-Mobile Galaxy Note 5 Updated With July Security Patch

The Galaxy Note 5 on T-Mobile is being updated to version N920TUVS4EQG1, equipped with the July security patch. Not only is the security getting upgraded, but system improvements and stability improvements are also listed.

The underlying Android build isn’t changing, though, with it still listed at 7.0+. And if you were wondering, it doesn’t seem likely that the Note 5 will be updated to Android O, but you never know. Still, security patch updates are always welcomed.

Note 5 owners on T-Mobile, go get that update.

  • Just bought a brand new one on ebay for $269. Cheaper than some of today’s mid tier phones. Was looking for a big screen, great display, and solid camera after my N6 screen cracked….. Glad to see it’s still getting updates
