The Moto Z2 Force is officially here, purchasable on basically any major US carrier. You can find it on Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, US Cellular, at Best Buy, or grab it on Motorola’s website. This is a major accomplishment for Motorola, so props to them.
If you missed our official review, here’s a recap of what you’re getting. The Z2 Force has a 5.5″ QHD ShatterShield display, Snapdragon 835, 4GB RAM, expandable storage, 2,730mAh battery, dual rear-facing 12MP cameras, USB Type-C (no headphone hack), water repellent nano coating, and Android 7.1.1+ “Nougat.”
On top of the new phone, there are also new Moto Mods to get excited for. There’s the 360 Camera, new JBL SoundBoost 2, and GamePad. Availability of these differ just a little bit, with the GamePad Moto Mod shipping August 25, purchasable exclusively through Verizon. The same goes for the Red-colored SoundBoost 2 speaker, but it’s available and shipping today. Should you not be on Verizon, but still want to buy a GamePad Moto Mod, follow this link.
For anyone who does pick up a new Z2 Force, you’ll be eligible for a free Moto Insta-Share Projector Mod by mail. Those things were like $300 last year, so that’s pretty sweet.

Picking one up?
Got it. Love it. Picked up a wireless charging mod as well on sale.
Those prices are stupid ridiculous. I don’t get it!
bye moto, its been real…loving my s8
Both DOA
Moto will be giving those 360 camera mods away next year, just like they gave the projector mod away this year.
Bnh has the OG Z Play for $350… If you have other priorities. Like battery life.
How I wish that phone came out (it’s battery like that is) a few years ago!
Battery life used to be huge for me, but now, with so many ways and options to charge and quickly, not as important to me.
Obviously I don’t speak for all by any means, but for me it’s weird that it’s a non issue now.
$300 for a 360 degree camera add-on ehh?
P, p, peh, pah pAH PASS.
It’ll be free next year with the moto z3 force…just like that stupid 480p projector mod is this year!
