Huawei has a new lineup of phones on the horizon and the first to be detailed pretty deeply is the Mate 10 Lite. Posted by VentureBeat, the Mate 10 Lite is apparently the more affordable option in the Mate 10 lineup, with there being three devices in total. There’s the Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, and Mate 10 Lite.
According to the report, the Mate 10 Lite will come equipped with a 5.9″ FHD+ display (18:9 aspect ratio, 1080 x 2160), Kirin 659 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, dual rear-facing cameras (16MP + 2MP), 3,340mAh battery, and Android 8.0 “Oreo” with Huawei’s custom EMUI skin running on top.
If none of this jumps out at you, remember, this is the Lite version, with the standard and Pro models sure to blow spec sheets away.
As reported, the Mate 10 Lite is said to launch on October 16 in Munich, with shipping scheduled for a month later. Pricing is said to be €379, which is about $455 USD.
For us in the US, the Lite version may not get much attention, but this design and spec sheet is a good indication of what we can expect from the standard and Pro models. As more details are made known, or when Huawei makes these devices official next month, we’ll let you know.
If waiting isn’t your thing, a photo of the Mate 10 also made its way online recently, courtesy of @evleaks.

Huawei Nexus 6P has become a huge cluster F to anyone affected. Huawei is not interested in customer service or in supporting their failing flagship of a phone. don’t expect the company to change, buy at your own risk
Coming from a Oneplus 3 to a Huawei P10, I’m surprised I don’t really mind EMUI 5.1, and it actually has some nice features. Granted, I did throw Nova Launcher on the phone, and changed the Theme of EMUI to an Oreo one someone made, and I had to struggle a bit with the aggressive battery management for applications before all of my notifications were working correctly, but aside from that it’s not bad.
Mate 9 is still my favorite phone ever. Love it.
It seems like the bottom phone evleaks shows has a Home Button while the top one has the Logo instead.. or am I blind?
I think the full version of mate 10 gonna be a huge hit if lite version is having such stunning features.
Nope, not blind. That’s what I see as well.
I have the Huawei Media Pad 3 Tablet, had to replace my Nexus 7 RIP. But the skin isn’t the most terrible thing on the planet. Put Nova and it makes it a lot better. Updates, those are a different story. Although honestly updates on a tablet don’t seem as big of a deal as your phone. You may not use your tablet everyday like you do a phone.
I use my iPad Pro every single day.
But why doesn’t evleaks show the branding in front like the above photo?
Something I’m damn glad Samsung omitted on the new Galaxies and Note
