Super Mario Run, one of the most hyped mobile games of all time, received a major update this week that includes new maps, a new character to unlock, plus a drop in its price.
The group of new maps is called Remix 10, which consists of randomly generated mini maps. In these maps you collect Rainbow Coins that you can use for other things in the game, and at the end of the new areas, you can unlock Princess Daisy as a playable character. You do not need to own the game to access these maps, but you will need to spend in-game tickets.
The big part of this update, though, is the price drop. The game launched for $10, but possibly forever or for at least a limited time, you can buy it for $4.99. That’s 50% off, which is pretty sweet.
If you’ve been waiting for a price drop or you need some Princess Daisy in your life, go get it!
Cheers Arie!

Why spend money on this .Nintendo is nothing but a bunch a greedy who only cares about money and not consumers at all.
No, thanks. I’ll stick to the real Super Mario games.
Unfortunately the price drop is only till October 12th.

I just wish it wasn’t an IAP so it could be part of my Family Library.
Would this run better on my Nexus 6P or iPad Air 2?
Honestly, it is a phone optimized game. I’m sure it works fine on your Air 2, but you can completely play this game 1 handed if you have it on a phone. I would recommend getting it on your 6P
thanks!
$5? Sold!
I have $15 worth of Google Rewards credit that’s been waiting for something like this.
Can you use the credit toward this or is this still in-app purchase? Also, can you confirm if family sharing is allowed?
Well you do but it in-app but your Google Play balance can be used as one of the payment methods. Dunno about the family sharing thing but I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to.
Thanks did the IAP with my Google credits. Need to try the family sharing.
Patience paid off to the tune of five dollars.
