The in-app purchase (IAP) inside of Super Mario Run that unlocks the full game is typically priced at $9.99. Today, though, the price is set to $4.99, making it 50% off. If you’ve been waiting for this day to come, now would be a good time to pick this title up.
Super Mario Run never seemed to catch on in popularity for Android as it did for iOS. To me, this is thanks to the exclusivity period iOS had for quite a while, so by the time it came to Android, people weren’t as excited for it. Not only that, but $10 is quite a bit to spend on a mobile game, even if it’s Mario related.

I haven’t bought it purely because of the fact this game requires a data connection even for the single player aspects. It’s BS and shouldn’t be stood for. By trying to defend against pirates, they’re diminishing the quality of the product for legitimate customers. The same goes for cloud saves on the Switch. Not allowing those is actually encouraging people to hack it to provide a feature it should’ve had on day one. Now not only will they get the outcome they were trying to avoid (at least with the Switch), they’re annoying their full paying customers & fans as well.
Also, on Mario Day, Mar 10, Google Maps navigation will turn the navigation arrow in to a super Mario car!
It’s already live for me here in the US.
this is not a real Mario game
Sorry, but this game isn’t worth 99¢, let alone $5-10.
C’mon, Nintendo. Give us some mobile versions of your classics. Or, make a new mobile Mario game that has the same classic gameplay his games have always had. Either way, you’ll be raking in cash.
Look what Square Enix did with their FinalFantasy series. They’re WINNING that game right now, by my eye.
Nah… I’ll wait until you give me a real classic Nintendo game. In the meantime….ROMs
Yep and yep! ????
