The Galaxy Watch 3 from Samsung is discounted again today to a price that has become almost standard. By knocking off $100, Samsung will sell you their newest high-end smartwatch for as little as $299.
This isn’t the $150-off deal we had a couple of weeks ago, but it’s still a big discount on what is arguably the best available smartwatch for Android users. $299 gets you into the smaller 41mm Galaxy Watch 3 or you can jump up in size to 45mm for $329.
With rumors of Samsung releasing new smartwatches in the near future that could run Google’s Wear OS, we could see further discounts here shortly. And should Samsung actually release Wear OS watches, then figuring out which platform (Samsung’s Tizen vs. Wear OS) to choose going forward might be important.

We just upgraded to these for $60.
Just got mine and my wife’s 45mm LTE model for $300 for the pair in the recent Employee Discount program sale. Great watch, and a HUGE step up from my Mi Band 3. Honestly, at that price it was a no-brainer impulse buy that if I decided I didn’t like it I could flip it on Swappa for a profit.
Please don’t switch to Wear OS. I have been using a Fossil Sport as my daily for a year or so, but my wife just got a Galaxy Active 2. Holy crap – what a difference. So much better for everything. OS, battery, features, etc. No comparison to AW.
I just picked up an Active 2 for 199 on Amazon…not a bad deal
I have a Galaxy Watch that I wish I realized didn’t have MST until after I bought it
