Google’s cheapest and newest phone, the Pixel 6a, is discounted once again after launching in July. We’ve seen its $449 price drop by as much as $80 in its early life, giving a sub-$400 price tag to a phone that punches well above that in some areas. Today, the price dropped further.
The Google Pixel 6a is currently $100 off in a best-price-ever deal. At $100 off, you would pay just $349 for this Google Tensor-powered phone, with the Pixel software experience, 5 years of updates, great performance, solid cameras, and Pixel 6 design.
In our review, we thought the Pixel 6a came up a bit short at $449. It needed a 90Hz display and better battery life mostly, but at $349, I’d tell almost anyone with a limited budget to run to this deal. There aren’t many phones that would give you what the Pixel 6a delivers for under $400.
At the moment, you can find the $349 Pixel 6a price at the two places you like buy most of your electronics from. Amazon has it. Best Buy has it.

Nice price but you can get new ones on Swappa for $300 and used ones online for even less already.
I actually jumped on this this morning on Amazon as a gift for my wife, but cancelled the order. She has a Pixel 4a that she barely uses as the luddite genes are strong with her. It doesn’t matter about OS and security updates for longer periods of time. Those arguments would just go over her head. So, for now I saved myself $349.99 and the headache that would go with it. Maybe next year…
I bought the 6a for $349 on Fi a few weeks back and have been surprised and impressed with it after using the 2XL and the 4a5g in the past. It feels so much more premium in the hand than those phones, and it’s truly the perfect size. Even compared to the 4a5g, it feels very snappy for my basic use case of browsing the web, watching Youtube, checking email, and taking pics. Would I like a faster refresh rate? Sure, but not for double the price. For what you get at this price, it seems crazy to ever pay > $400 or so for a phone again (for my use case).
May as well wait TBH. Because this will probably be a common price going into the holidays. May as well wait to see how Pixel 7 deals line up in the same window.
Agreed. We’re a little over 6 weeks from the BF sales and unless you need a phone tomorrow I’d wait and see. There should be a lot of options for Pixel phones at all price points around then.
