  • I have had a OP13 since day 1. I almost love it. It is better than the 12 (I got day 1) in many ways, but mainly the IP rating. The 15 doesn't inspire me at all for its downgrades. And since the fatal software updates on the 12 that carried over to the 13, OnePlus has lost their mind and me. The "features" they added to how folders and apps inside them work (don't work right), and an AOD that will never be always on no matter how you change the settings, just push me to my limits. I'm sick of the UI incompetence. That's the same as bloatware IMO. Not giving the user an option to change these "features" to their liking is a crime to the Android basis. I know there are many on my side with these and many other things (like the feed (left) page always being there and being able to set a specific page as home on the home screen). What about icons and font?? OnePlus has gone off the deep end to take Android and make it iOS. They don't listen to user feedback. As long as they think it's pretty, nothing else matters. And that's why they can take the 15 and shove it! Please tell me I'm wrong. I'd love to be wrong. LG never did this to its customers.

  • Last year it took two months after the Chinese launch to see a US launch of the OnePlus 13 and 13R.

so I expect to see the 15 launching in North America in January 2026.

  • word of caution, from Chinese social media, it's been confirmed that the other colorways won't be the ceramic coating like the dune colorway so in case if you're interested in the black or purple just know it won't have the fancy ceramic coating thingy that the brand is heavily promoting… I wanted to get the purple but after hearing it won't be the same materials as the dune color I think I'm just gonna get the dune instead
