Stepping back from all of the Galaxy S6 and One M9 rumors and news, it’s time to focus a little more on what’s “hot” out there. Today, we have a new icon pack to share called Juyo, priced at $1.56 on Google Play.
Unlike many other icon packs, Juyo is not a round or squared icon pack, but goes for more of a color (or lack thereof) theme than anything. Each icon in the pack, which features over 2000 icons, is all white, perfect for standing out on darker wallpapers. However, the icons also have thin black outlines, allowing for the viewing of icons on white backgrounds too.
Not only is the pack huge, featuring all of your favorite apps and games, but Juyo comes with a few great wallpapers based in the cloud and available for offline use as well. Each wallpaper was selected for its ability to show off the white themed icons rather well, so feel free to give them all a try.
At first, single color icon packs were never my thing, but Juyo does a fantastic job at displaying text-based logos and image-based logos. For example, the text icon for Netflix looks awesome, while the usage of negative space on one of the Gmail icons is legendary. And as an added bonus, the pack does support Muzei.

adblock for chrome?
i tried it and also adaway but it doesnt get rid of them.
but adblock plus works fine on the computer so idk
I don’t find adblock plus or any other adblockers for that matter to block ads any longer on most sites.
uBlock for Chrome is a little lighter on the memory.

No, this site has seriously gone downhill over the past year and a half. I don’t want to see basically a bunch of spam when i visit this site. No one cares about 20 scandals that shocked country music, 5 reasons why your mascara forms into lumps, pit stop spaghetti squash, 20 amazing natural phenomena, and best cases for an iphone 6. Most things posted on this site now-a-days is just stuff that they’ve been paid to promote, such as all things motorola. Any icon pack, game, app etc. This used to be the greatest android site and now i scroll through some of these articles thinking to myself, “wtf are they thinking with this bs”
They aren’t paid by Motorola. This site’s founders were original Droid users, hence the “Droid” life which is why there is always a special love for Motorola. Having been here from the begining, this site started as nothing but “Droid” stuff (aka, Verizon’s Motorola Droid 1,2,X) and their sister site, An.Droid-life.com was for everything else. (Nexus, Eris, Thunderbolt, etc.) I also find the ads a little annoying but this is a pretty good site and it is not as if they make any money doing this.
They won’t ever admit to being paid by Motorola but they are. Its not very hard to tell. Especially since they rarely have anything good to say about other OEMS I’ve been on this site since I first got my og droid and can say that this site just isn’t what it used to be.
Is everyone paid by Motorola? I mean if Moto sucked and they kept talking about it like it was the only phone to get then yeah i would see your point. Every other Android site basically says the same thing. they all thought Moto X was phone of the year last year and had nothing but good things to say about this years version. So not sure if your comment has any legs.
but the moto x 2014 is no where near the phone of the year. crappy battery, camera, etc. People praise it just because it’s moto and they want to see them do good. They hit it out of the park with the nexus 6, but the moto x falls short imo

It has it’s own nearly identical features that match what moto offers. it has much better battery life and the camera blows the moto x out of the water. Overall the n6 is a much better phone, if you can handle the size. I’m sure you’re used to dealing with small things so anything over 6 inches is too much for you to handle.
If you’ve listened to or read any of the reviews you’d see that there have been plenty of LG and Samsung phones that were heralded by this site.

Do you need a custom launcher for these icon packs to work or could you just have stock Android as well? Specifically Lollipop.

I hate that. Alot of the icon packs I think look pretty sweet and I’d pay for them but I like the Google Now Launcher. I wonder if they’ll ever add the ability to do icon packs in it. I’m guessing not because they could no longer control the branding of their own icons. **sad trombone**

I use Nova and I came from the Google Now Launcher. I just swipe up and voila! Google Now!
