Today is just one of those days where it feels good to be a mobile-centric gamer. With the release of AVP for Android just hours ago, EA Games launched Real Racing 3 onto Google Play as well. For racing fans, it doesn’t get much better than this. With life-like graphics and physics, this is probably the closest you can get to driving an actual car, but still be sitting on your couch playing through your phone. (more…)
Today is the day – AVP: Evolution is finally up in Google Play for Android devices. FOX has been teasing this game for the past month and I know some people were really looking forward to it. Basically, it’s your typical AVP storyline with some twists. A clan of “Super Predators” have somehow captured an Alien queen and are holding her hostage. While playing as an Alien, it’s your duty to save your special girl. Kind of like Mario, but much more violent. (more…)
Bored at work today? Feel free to give your fingers some exercise with Google’s latest invention – Super Sync Sports. It’s a web application that syncs your PC Chrome browser with that of your mobile to let you participate in running, cycling, and swimming activities. That may sound semi-boring at first, but when you watch the preview below and then head over to the site to take in the soundtrack, you’ll find an urge to play immediately. (more…)

This morning, NVIDIA is continuing to tease us with a few upcoming Tegra 4 enhanced game titles that take full advantage of all of those GPU cores. Two of the five games look to be zombies games, but that’s just fine by me. The new titles include Burn Zombie Burn, Dead on Arrival 2, Carie: Blood Mansion, CODEX: The Warrior, and RU Golf. (more…)
This morning, there is a brand new game to go get your paws on over in Google Play. Zombies & Trains is pretty much self explanatory; Zombies are trying to capture a prize and you must destroy them using your trains. Games these days are getting bigger and bigger and while that’s not necessarily a bad thing, they had humble beginnings. AWESOME Land is a new game that just landed in Google Play that wants you to relive those humble 16-bit days. Packing a unique art style and some pretty snappy controls, this game is certainly one to check out. (more…)
Just to take a quick break from all of this HTC One excitement, I wanted to quickly round up all of today’s Google Play sales.
