So, I am not going to lie – I have never played Lode Runner. I have also never touched an Apple II. For God’s sake, the first console experience I remember is my brother’s Super Nintendo. I’m a 90s baby. Anyways, if you want a serious blast from the past, the official Lode Runner classic, complete with 150 levels, is now on Google Play for $2.99. (more…)

Temple Run 2 Comes to Android Next Week
That’s right, a sequel to Temple Run is finished and should be released on Android next Thursday. Dubbed Temple Run 2 (so clever), the new game has been built from the ground up, contains the same simple controls that you enjoyed from the first, and will likely be just as addictive. The small 2-person Imangi Studios team has grown to five, to take the game to another level. Since they now serve 170 million players on the original TR, this new venture has a lot to live up to. PlayStation Mobile Hosting Six Weeks of Free Games, Kicks It Off With Samurai Beatdown
Yes, this will only be relevant to the handful of people with Sony PlayStation certified devices, but hey, we figured we should spread the love. Starting today and for the following six weeks, PlayStation Mobile is handing out a free game every seven days for anyone rocking a certified device.
This week’s game is Samurai Beatdown, so I will continue to feel justified in not owning one of these devices. On the other hand, I really wouldn’t mind getting my hands on the Xperia ZL. I want it now.
If you want your free game, go here.

Trid – A Game That Tests Your Brain’s Processing Speed and Memory

NVIDIA Teases Dead Trigger 2 and Real Boxing [CES2013]
At tonight’s NVIDIA event, while showing off their new Project SHIELD, the company gave us a sneak peek at an upcoming release from Madfinger Games, Dead Trigger 2. From what we did see in a short gameplay demo, the game looked pretty intense, but other than that massive zombie you see above, we don’t know much else. No release time frame or anything too juicy.
