After what seemed like forever of hyping and trailer releases, it’s November 8, 2012. That can only mean one thing for Android fans – it’s Angry Birds Star Wars Day! I’ve played through a few of the levels already and I have to say, I am happy. The soundtrack is exactly what I was hoping for. There are plenty of lightsaber “woosh” sounds and the overall look of the game pays mighty homage to the series that I love so very much. Now the only problem is how do I convince Kellex that I’m sick and watch the movies instead of work? (more…)

The beta is coming to a close, folks. This morning, Madfinger Games released the official launch trailer for Shadowgun: DeadZone, which gives us a November 15 release date. For those that have been playing the beta with me, don’t worry, your stats should be carrying over and you won’t lose any of your rankings. Glu Mobile’s Contract Killer 2 for Android, Every Bit of Awesome as The First
Last week, Contract Killer 2 hit Google Play. Since then, more than five hundred thousand people have downloaded the game and have given it very high ratings. Pretty good results for a sequel. As you may have taken from the title, you play as a deadly assassin who is highly efficient with a sniper rifle and other weaponry like shotguns, pistols, AR’s, etc. You must sneak your way into areas and then blow away all of the hostiles before they take you out first. Tegra-Enhanced Zombie Driver THD Hits Google Play, We Have Two Nexus 7 Tablets to Celebrate [Contest] (Update: Winners Picked)
It’s Halloween today, one of our favorite holidays. I think what makes it so great is that it’s the best time to be a mobile gamer. It seems that every other day there is a new game to play that lets you kill endless amount of zombies, and we just can’t get enough of that. The newest game to satisfy our bloodlust is Zombie Driver THD. This game is for action lovers who love speed, explosions, and guts.
The game is pretty straight forward when it comes to killin’ – you drive cars that have been rigged with machine guns and explosives around epic locations that have been destroyed from the zombie apocalypse. You go to battle with humongous boss characters and save survivors if possible. The game is $6.99 on Google Play and is currently only available for Tegra-sporting devices. R2-D2 and C-3PO Gameplay Footage Goes Up For Angry Birds Star Wars

Just about one more week, folks, and the teasing will finally come to an end. This morning, Rovio has released yet another gameplay trailer for the upcoming Angry Birds Star Wars game, featuring none other than some of our favorites, R2-D2 and C-3PO.
The game launches Nov. 8, so here we are, waiting as usual.

Rope Rescue for Android, The Perfect Mix of Cut the Rope and Angry Birds
Why didn’t I think of this? From Untame Games, comes a game called Rope Rescue that matches the cuteness of the Angry Birds characters and combines it with the brain-busting puzzle-like fun of Cut the Rope. You’re given a single bird whose mission is to set free the caged bird. You grab a rope and use it with pulleys and gears to set the other bird free. Naturally, the game gets increasingly difficult as you progress. (more…)
