Big day for apps, as EA Games just released Need for Speed Most Wanted to Google Play. From what we can see in the trailer and press images, the game looks like one major piece of work – highly detailed sports cars, extreme environments, and the ability to compete with friends across multiple platforms such as iOS, Android, and Kindle devices. Chrono Trigger Lands in Google Play, Cult Classic for $9.99
There are games that have cult followings and then there is Chrono Trigger. In a class by itself, this game has sold more copies on different systems than pretty much any other game that was released during its time. Able to stand the test of time and ports to different systems, the game still lives on and can now be played right on your Android device. (more…)

Today, along with all of this other Android madness, Madfinger Games has pushed out an update to Shadowgun:DeadZone that allows non-Tegra 3 device owners to get their hands on the beta. First Gameplay of Angry Birds Star Wars – Four-Legged Walkers, Wookiee Bird and Lightsabers Included

The moment we have all been waiting for – gameplay from Angry Birds Star Wars! How this game could get any more cool, I have no idea. (more…)

To celebrate the game’s 10th anniversary (Oct. 29), Rockstar Games has announced that they are to release Grand Theft Auto: Vice City for mobile devices in the Fall. For those unfamiliar, Vice City is the next game after the first GTA that was made available for the PlayStation 2 that made stealing cars, getting wanted by the FBI, and other illegal activities involving women fun as can be. The game takes places in the 80s and takes certain aspects from much of that decade’s culture such as movies, music, and video games. (more…)

Tegra-Enhanced Crazy Machines Hits Android, Lets You Live Your Inner Rube Goldberg
One of the benefits of having a NVIDIA Tegra 3 device, other than the awesome performance, is the games that come optimized for it. The latest to be released is the game Crazy Machines Golden Gears. This game gives you a simple objective and lets you go crazy with how to make that happen. Want a teapot to power a pinwheel to drag your machine across the screen? Sounds good to us. (more…)

Gameloft’s Zombiewood Launches on Google Play, It Must Be Halloween Time
If I didn’t know better I would say we’re nearing my favorite holiday, Halloween. With zombies coming out of the woodwork on Google Play, it’s a good time to be a mobile gamer. This morning, Gameloft has unleashed Zombiewood, a game which they teased last week, to Google Play for the price of free. The objective for your character is just like any other zombie game, kill the hordes. With some great graphics and plenty of fun and upgradable weapons, this may make some other games I’ve been playing take a backseat. (more…)
