This newest title, Frisbee Rush is a fantastic example of how to bring the web and your phone together. With the controller app and Adobe AIR downloaded from Google Play, you control the game on your phone that takes place through your browser on the computer. (more…)

Strikefleet Omega, the Fate of Humanity Rests in Your Hands
Another spaceship game has hit Google Play, but this isn’t just your average Asteroids. With a perfect mix of good graphics, story and gameplay, Starfleet Omega is a true contender for what a space shooter should be.
Earth has been destroyed by alien terrorists and you are placed in command of a fleet of fighters. You must use them as best as you can to defeat the oncoming horde of enemy baddies while not letting them destroy the last bit of humanity. The game runs insanely smooth and for the price of free, is a must have for some. Give it a try and let us know what you think.

Gameloft Releases Launch Trailer for Asphalt 7, Naturally It’s “Coming Soon”
Gameloft released a trailer for the upcoming Asphalt 7 racing game that is soon to make its way onto the Android platform. This edition looks to be a super charged, nitrogen oxide-boosted addition to the franchise that is sure to leave users gripping on to the edge of their tablets or phones for dear life. Dramatic tendencies aside, the graphics are really starting to shape up, so I’m looking quite forward to this launch. We’ll keep you posted. (more…)

Oscura is a Beautiful 2D Platformer With a Gothic 3D Aesthetic for Android
Last night, while trying to unwind after busting out my Galaxy S3 review, I stumbled onto a game made by MTV of all companies, called Oscura. It’s a 2D platformer, but while playing, it almost feels 3D thanks to the environment and the obstacles you encounter. Better put, it’s freakin’ beautiful.
You are some sort of a mouse or rodent, with one goal, to find shards of a crystal that was destroyed and sprayed across an island. There are dark creatures lurking in various places, spikes, lava, powerups, and more. The idea is simple and the gameplay is buttery smooth, but so far it has been quite the challenge to pass each level with much of a high score. There is a 4-star rating system to get you to pass through perfectly, and even some hidden treasures throughout. (more…)
