  • EA Mobile Offering Up Catalog of Android Games for $.99

EA Mobile is currently offering up what appears to be their entire lineup of Android games for $.99 as a holiday celebration of sorts.  Even Need for Speed, which isn’t showing above, can be had for a single dollar.  Speaking of the holidays, there is something about Tetris that brings me back to X-mas morning when the Gameboy first came out and that was the game.  Memories.

Check your market now to grab some of this killer deals.

    Cheers JoelSeph!

  • GameLoft Offers Hero of Sparta for FREE Today

Earlier this month GameLoft gave away Dungeon Hunter for free and decided to follow that up with a free offering of Hero of Sparta.  I’d try to offer up some sort of quick review, but is that really needed?  We know their games are of the highest quality, plus the word “free” should have the internet sprinting your way to the download link below.  As with any HD game, expect additional game data to be downloaded to your SD card.

    Download here.

    Cheers @bfuleky!

  • Android Gaming Madness: Need For Speed Shift, Spiderman and Dungeon Defenders

It seems like only yesterday that we were all sitting back and complaining about the gaming situation on Android and how in order for us to compete with the i*hone, we would need bigger companies to start releasing some of their big titles.  Well, it looks like that time is more than here, as we’re seeing major releases drop on a daily basis.  GameLoft with their anti-market approach is still pumping out amazing games, EA is ready to push forward with their lineup, and of course we have the dozens of titles out from companies choosing to release through OpenFeint.  Times are good right now, but this is only the beginning.   (more…)

  • Angry Birds Seasons Day 16 – High Scores?

I for the life of me, can’t figure out how to get 3 stars on day 16 of Angry Birds Seasons.  Been at it for a good 20 minutes now and I’ve officially given up.  Sad I know.  Show me what you got though!

(ImageShack and TinyPic are both good image hosting options.)

(ShootMe and Drocap2 are both good screenshot apps.)

  • GameLoft Offers Up Modern Combat Sandstorm for FREE through GetJar (Updated)

GameLoft is looking to make some friends back this week after some interesting thoughts were expressed about them throughout the interwebs.  They’ve released Modern Combat Sandstorm for free through app gurus, GetJar!  There is a chance that Let’s Golf HD is also available for free, but I was unable to find it.  If you do find it on GetJar’s website, feel free to drop a link to it in the comments.

Oh, Sandstorm will require an additional 103MB of data to be downloaded to your SD card, but you are good with that right?  And I must say, the graphics are this game are impressive.  Hopefully the gameplay can keep up.

Update:  Just went through the training of the game and it’s pretty awesome.  Moving on to actual gameplay and then we’ll know for sure.  You’ll definitely want to grab this while it’s free though.

Update 2:  Looks like they might just be demos.  You can move on with your life now.

  • Rocket Bunnies Released on Android!

Rocket Bunnies is now available on Android and it’s free!  What the heck is Rocket Bunnies?  Think of it as an Angry Birds type of game only it has crazy bunnies involved that fly around in space collecting other bunnies, carrots, and powerups all while avoiding enemies and bombs.  Well actually, it’s categorized as more of a puzzle game, that requires you to slingshot from planet to planet in the most efficient way possible so that you can walk away with 3 stars and an uber-quick time.  I know that my description didn’t make a whole lot of sense, so check out the video below and you’ll get it.
