Only the best Android games make our daily Android apps lists, because you don’t need to sift through the garbage – you just need to know what you should be playing and spending that cash on.

Whether its Crossy Road, Monument Valley, HQ Trivia, the latest Star Wars game, or an indie title, there is a good chance our gaming expert(s) have taken a look at it.

Have Android games recommendations? Send them on over and we’ll do our best to dive in, test it, and let you know if it will be worth purchasing. We have a good eye for games at Droid Life an consider ourselves a trusted voice.

  • Angry Birds Seasons Day 15 – High Scores!

Day 15 felt a lot easier than some of the last few we’ve dealt with, however, I’m sure 56,150 won’t be enough to top any of you.  We have only 10 days left before X-mas which means the end is near for Angry Birds Seasons!  Sad…show me your scores!

  • Angry Birds Seasons Day 14 – High Scores?

Day 14 of Angry Birds Seasons took me a little longer than expected, but I eventually got that elusive 3 star rating.  Now, please feel free to top me!

  • Words With Friends Coming to Android

Scrabble – Sounds like a blast. Oh but wait, now you’re saying I can play “Scrabble” on my Android phone? Double blast? Indeed it’s true. The extremely popular i*hone application is being ported to the Android platform by the game developers and is expected to make it’s first appearance very soon. But can I play with my friends with i*hones? I hope so. I love wiping that smug grin off their faces!

But this brings up another subject. Getting more applications from the i*hone platform to come to the GreenSide. Queue Imperial March! We already got the Fruit Ninja and Angry Birds love, but I want to see more. Also, it isn’t like we don’t already have Scrabble games. There is Scrabble Lite, WordWise, Word Feud, and a ton more, but if any of you know Words With Friends, then you’ll know of its pure greatness.

  • Angry Birds Day 13 – Post up your Scores!

Posting these scores has now become embarrassing…I’m sure most of you can beat 88,270 with the flick of a pinky, but I at least want proof!  Post up your Angry Birds Seasons day 13 scores!

  • Video: Madden 2011 on Android Quick Look

As most of the Droid X owners out there know, the new 2.2.1 update brought Madden 2011 to Android, a game that so many of you have been waiting for over the last few months.  Well, we upgraded to the $9.99 full version to give those of you on the fence a chance to see the game in all its glory and to help you decide if this purchase is for you.  I will say that the game runs really well for being a mobile app and comes packed with almost every feature you could ask for in a Madden game.  They may have taken their sweet time releasing it and unfortunately only went with this one phone, but at first glance, they seem to have done a nice job.

Oh and the 7:13 mark is a chance for everyone to see me put on a clinic.   (more…)

  • ESPN Shows Some Love to Angry Birds in Headline

One of the headline writers over at ESPN is most definitely an Angry Birds fan.  The headline above was captured during Sunday Night Football just before my boy, DeSean Jackson ripped off a 91-yarder and helped propel the Eagles to another win.  The point though, is obviously how big this silly game of sling-shotting birds has become.  Not only did this headline appear, but the announcers during yesterday’s Blazers/Spurs game also made mention of it.  It really has taken over the entire world.

    Cheers Andrew!

  • Angry Birds Seasons Day 12 – Post up some scores!

These seem to be getting harder and harder and harder and harder…or I’m just that awful.  Actually, day 12 of Angry Birds Seasons was no where near as difficult as day 11, so I’m as glad as anyway to see that we’ve moved on from it.  So what ya got?  Beat 84520?
