Only the best Android games make our daily Android apps lists, because you don’t need to sift through the garbage – you just need to know what you should be playing and spending that cash on.

Whether its Crossy Road, Monument Valley, HQ Trivia, the latest Star Wars game, or an indie title, there is a good chance our gaming expert(s) have taken a look at it.

Have Android games recommendations? Send them on over and we’ll do our best to dive in, test it, and let you know if it will be worth purchasing. We have a good eye for games at Droid Life an consider ourselves a trusted voice.

  • Angry Birds Season Day 11 – Post up those Scores!

We skipped yesterday’s Angry Birds Seasons post as the number of scores posted seemed to be dwindling on day 9, but had a couple of readers ask about it and wanted to bring it back again.  You guys still down for doing this?  If you are, toss up those day 11 scores!  And man do I suck at this level…

  • Angry Birds Introducing Ad-free Version, In-app Purchases, Mighty Eagle on Android

New features are coming to Angry Birds and you’ll probably like all of them.  Who wants an ad-free version of the game?  That’s coming, after a fee of course.  Who wants to buy add-ons to the game?  That’s coming as the “Bad Piggy Bank”, meaning you’ll be able to do it in the app and the charges will be applied to your carrier bill.  And who wants the Mighty Eagle!  You know, that level-skipping beast of a bird?  It will be one of those available in-app purchases.

No date has been set for the launch of these new features, but Rovio hasn’t been one to dilly dally.

Oh, they also topped 10 million downloads on Android now.  Craziness.

  • Angry Birds Seasons Day 9 – Show Off Your Scores!

Day 9 of Angry Birds Seasons is ready for your domination.  Took me a few tries to get 3 stars, but was eventually able to do it with just 3 of the 5 birds.  Now please, show me how crappy I am.  Post  your scores!

  • Video: Angry Birds Start to Question their Strategy

Ever wondered why the Angry Birds need a sling shot to attack the pigs?  They are birds right?  Shouldn’t they just fly over and snatch their eggs back rather than throwing themselves into buildings on kamikaze missions?  It looks like the birds are starting to wonder these things as well…   (more…)

  • Mega Jump Headed to Android this Month

One of the next big gaming hits headed to Android is a little game called Mega Jump that has apparently been downloaded over 7.5 million times by users across the globe.  While I’ll admit that I’ve never heard of or played the  game before, after seeing the video below, I can see why it would be so popular.  Get Set Games, the maker behind this madness, has announced that it will be out some time this month and we’re guessing that it’ll be pushed by OpenFeint, which means it’ll be even more amazing.   (more…)

  • Madden 2011 on Android will Cost $9.99

As readers of this site, you already know that the 2.2.1 update which will be available to all Droid X in the next few days includes the first version of Madden 2011 on Android.  We’re not all that surprised that it will make its debut on the DX since we know that Verizon has a major relationship with the NFL, but we thought you should know a little something about the game itself.  The pre-loaded version that comes with the update is as you may have expected, a demo version and as far as I know, will only let you play a half of football.  If you want to upgrade to the full version though, it’ll cost you $9.99 and will be charged straight to your Verizon bill.  I’m actually a little surprised that it won’t cost you more than $9.99.

I haven’t had a chance to dive into it completely yet, but from what I’ve seen, the game looks pretty stellar.  We’ll hopefully have some video up in the morning for you all to check out.

  • Angry Birds Seasons Day 8 – Show Off Your High Scores!

Yesterday, everyone found a sneaky super explosion spot and exploited the heck out of it.  I’m thinking there might be something like that today too as day 8 of Angry Birds Seasons seems to have something hidden going on.  Either that, or they really do expect you to use all 3 birds, like I did to get 3 stars.  Weird.  Anyways, show us your scores!

Oh, I should also point out that this Saturday (December 11) is Angry Birds day.

  • Angry Birds Seasons Day 7 – Show Your High Scores!

After yesterday’s death trap of a level,  I was ready to give up on the world, but the animated day 7 button was too irresistible for my fingers.  Who’s got high scores for today’s Angry Birds Seasons level?  Don’t forget to drop your scores in the comments as either a pic or text and remember that serious gaming pros will want proof!
