A major update is rolling out to S Health, the same that was detailed on stage during the Galaxy S8 unveiling. Moving forward, S Health is now Samsung Health, which is sorta comical considering “S” was simply short for Samsung. I would’ve loved to be a fly on the wall during that super important meeting. It’s not the easiest thing to do at times, especially when you’re trying to talk to multiple users at once. Facebook App Gains In-App Camera With Effects, Facebook Stories Too
The Facebook app on Android and iOS is getting a new in-app camera that will give you all of the effects and filter fun you could ever ask for outside of Snapchat. Alongside the new camera, which begins rolling out this week, Facebook is getting Stories and Direct, two similar features to Instagram Stories that represent video and photo collages of your day that can be shared broadly or with select users. Google Play Now Hosting “Free App of the Week”
Google has apparently jumped on board with the idea that you like free stuff every week. We’ll see how long it lasts, but Google Play is now offering up a free app of the week.
A new category for a weekly free app popped up over the weekend, showcasing a game called Card Wars – Adventure Time from the Cartoon Network. In order to grab this free item, all you have to do is hit up the link below, tap on the app, and then tap “Install,” as the price of $2.99 should be slashed to nothing. (more…)
