Sunrise, my favorite calendar app of all time, is dead as of today. For those paying close attention, you’ll notice that today is September 13 and not August 31 (the day the app was supposed to original die), and that’s because Microsoft gave Sunrise another couple of weeks to live as they tried to get Sunrise features ready for Outlook, the app that Sunrise is now supposedly baked into. Seemingly just introduced into the Google Cast application, Google is looking for folks to enter a Preview Program for the Chromecast. What will you receive for entering? According to an enrollment email received after signing up, you will get sneak peeks at new updates (new features, device enhancements), and will have direct access to send feedback right back to the Chromecast team. Titanfall Frontline Mobile Game Available for Free This Fall
Titanfall Frontline, a mobile game based on the Titanfall console franchise, will be making its way to Android soon. Developed in partnership by Nexon, Respawn, and Particle City, Titanfall Frontline is a strategy card game where players will face off in head-to-head combat with other players in real-time.
In the game, players will use strategic combinations of Pilots, Titans and tactical Burn Cards in an attempt to outmaneuver their opponents. Essentially, it’s like many other strategic card games, but instead of wizards and mana, you’re using Titans and Burn cards. (more…)

Pixel Launcher Now Available for Download
You know how we told you this morning that the Nexus Launcher had been renamed to Pixel Launcher? You can now download it, sideload, and get a taste of Pixel before the phones are officially announced.
Below, you’ll find a .zip file that includes both the Pixel Launcher (v7.1-3231428) and the wallpaper picker, along with individual files for each in case you don’t want to deal with a .zip.

Action Launcher 3’s Big September Update is Out, With Pixel Launcher Goodies Galore
Just over a month ago, Action Launcher 3 beta received an update that introduced some of the Nexus Launcher features from the leaked .apk that had been floating around to get them in the wild and people testing. Over the weekend, only days before the name of that launcher changed to Pixel Launcher, Action Launcher 3 received an update in the stable channel with not only a bunch of features from the beta, but a handful of improvements on top of them. Google’s Reported ‘Nexus Launcher’ Just Became ‘Pixel Launcher’ (Updated: Download)
In early August, word was out that Google was renaming and redesigning its launcher experience, now carrying the name of Nexus Launcher. An .apk file for the launcher was even leaked, allowing all to enjoy it if they so chose to. Today, known HTC leakster @LlabTooFeR has provided images of the same launcher, but Google has apparently changed the name yet again, this time, to Pixel Launcher. (more…)
