  • Whoa: Samsung Offers Insane $700 Off Galaxy S20 With Trades

Whoa: Samsung Offers Insane $700 Off Galaxy S20 With Trades

Samsung is continuing its string of wild trade-in values for the launch of the Galaxy S20, should you have a semi-recent phone to give them in exchange for their new-new. Depending on your phone, Samsung will give you up to $700 off a Galaxy S20, S20+, or S20 Ultra if you trade it in during the early promotional pre-order period.

Yes, you read that correctly – $700 off a Galaxy S20.

To get the deal, you’ll need to own a phone from a pretty select list. The full $700 will be given if you trade-in a Galaxy Note 10 or Note 10+ or iPhone 11 Pro or 11 Pro Max. Mad about that? Don’t be. If you have a Pixel 4 or 4 XL, Galaxy S10 or S10+, iPhone 11, or iPhone XS or XS Max, you’ll still get $600 off.

Here is the full list of Galaxy S20 trade-in devices and values:

    Galaxy S20 Trade-in values Galaxy S20 Trade-in values

    Galaxy S20 Trade-in values

With a $700 discount, you are looking at Galaxy S20 starting point of $299.99 (down from $999.99), Galaxy S20+ at $499.99 (down from $1,199.99), and Galaxy S20 Ultra at $699.99 ($down from $1,399.99). Those are wild discounts on some of the most expensive phones ever made.

Of course, those are the base model prices, but the trade-in discounts work on all models including both carrier and unlocked versions.

For those new to Samsung’s trade-in program, I can tell you why we like it so much. Unlike most, Samsung gives you the value of the trade-in at the time of purchase rather than making you send off your phone and waiting for a credit back. Instead, they take the value off your Galaxy S20 purchase today, which means less out of pocket from you. You then send your trade-in after you get your new phone, they confirm it’s legit, and you go on about your day.

In addition to the trade-in promo, I should point out that Samsung is also giving up to $200 credits to spend on accessories just for pre-ordering.

  • Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL are $200 Off Today, Starting at $599

Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL are $200 Off Today, Starting at $599

The Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL are reaching the point where we are going to tell you to never buy them at full price. Why? Because they are constantly discounted by $100 or $150 or $200. Like today, they are once again $200 off at Amazon.

Today’s special pricing is on both the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL with 64GB storage. I’d imagine that Amazon is selling through them, because select colors are no longer available at the $200-off price. If interested, you might want to hurry.

At $200 off, the Pixel 4 now starts at $599 and the Pixel 4 XL can be had for $699. We’ve talked ad naseam about the issues with both phones and that they are by no means perfect, but they are also quite good at what they want to do (run smooth, have clean software, and take great pictures). The Pixel 4 XL is absolutely a great deal at $699.

If you buy a Pixel 4 or 4 XL today through Amazon, you are buying the unlocked model that will work on all major US carriers. It also has eSIM support for many, so you may not even need to go into a carrier to get it activated. You should check it out.

  • DEAL: Fossil Gen 5 Down to $219, Includes New Designs ($76 Off)

DEAL: Fossil Gen 5 Down to $219, Includes New Designs ($76 Off)

For a limited time, you can pick up a new Gen 5 smartwatch from Fossil for just $219, which is $76 off their usual price of $295. And yes, this discount is available for the new designs that were debuted during CES.

We told you last year in our Gen 5 review that this Wear OS-powered is one of the only smartwatches you should consider buying right now. Even with CES happening last month and new watches coming, we still feel that way. The Gen 5 models have a good display, good battery life, and great performance.

There are a ton of looks and designs to choose from, but if you need something even more simple/less expensive, the Fossil Sport is also on there for $99.

    Check it out.

  • Pixel 4 Gets a $300 Discount at Verizon

Pixel 4 Gets a $300 Discount at Verizon

We love discounts, especially on Google’s Pixel phones, like the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL. Getting a best-in-class camera with clean, always-up-to-date software at lower prices is never a bad thing. Verizon is helping us out there today with a $300 discount on either of those phones.

The deal is pretty straight forward. If you are a Verizon customer and want to upgrade to a Pixel 4 or Pixel 4 XL, they’ll give you a $300 discount. The entire $300 is spread out over 24 months as bill credits, so to get this deal, you are essentially signing up for a 2-year contract.

In what appears to be a new idea from Verizon, they are offering the bill credit situation for both device payment plans or if you buy the phone at full retail. So technically, you don’t have to sign a 2-year deal if you go full retail, but in order to get the full $300 back, you’ll have to hang around for 2 years.

If you go the device payment route, Pixel 4 payments will drop as low as $20.83/mo and the Pixel 4 XL drops to $24.99/mo. At full retail, you’ll have to pay the full price up front, but after bill credits would essentially be paying $499 for the Pixel 4 and $599 for the 4 XL.

That all make sense? Go shopping then.

  • DEAL: You Can Still Get a 2-Pack of Nest Hubs for Only $99

DEAL: You Can Still Get a 2-Pack of Nest Hubs for Only $99

Earlier this week, a crazy good deal on Best Buy popped up that netted you a 2-pack of Nest Hub smart displays for just $99. That’s $50 a piece, which is down from their currently listed price of $99 on the Google Store. That deal expired on Best Buy, but it’s back again, this time on QVC’s dedicated web store.

If you didn’t catch it the first time around, here’s another chance.

If you don’t have a smart display in your home, they’re cool for a few reasons. First, they act as fantastic kitchen timers because you can actually see how much time you have left, instead of having to ask an Assistant-powered speaker how much time is left on the timer. They can be smart home hubs for controlling all sorts of connected gadgets in your house and they are also good picture frames for albums you have inside of Google Photos. At $$99, a 2-pack is a really good buy.

    Don’t miss out.

  • Pixel 3a Up to $100 Off With Free $100 Gift Card is a Sweet Deal

Pixel 3a Up to $100 Off With Free $100 Gift Card is a Sweet Deal

Again, I am well aware that Google could be close to replacing the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL with a Pixel 4a. I know that the 4a will have significant upgrades, maybe include 5G, and look sweet. But that doesn’t mean the Pixel 3a at a discount isn’t still worth a serious look as your next phone.

Right now, Best Buy has both the Pixel 3a and 3a XL at up-to $100 off, plus they are tossing in a $100 gift card with purchase. To get the full $100-off, you’ll need to activate with a carrier. If that sounds like absolute hell (and it should), they’ll give you $50 off just for buying without activation.

So to recap, at least $50 plus a $100 gift card for buying the Pixel 3a or Pixel 3a XL.

Right now, Best Buy has all colors in-stock, all of which include the goods.
