    Samsung has once again discounted their fabulous new smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch Active 2, by $50, dropping it to Black Friday-level pricing. With starting points of $229 and $249, this is once again the smartwatch we will tell you to go buy.

    A little over a week ago, I shared a confession with you all, that I had taken a secret break from Wear OS and was enjoying a Galaxy Watch Active 2. During that shameful and secret testing period, I mostly fell in love with Samsung’s newest smartwatch and likely won’t take it off the wrist any time soon.

    The Galaxy Watch Active 2 provides a true 2-day battery life, even with a lot thrown at it. It has the best watch display I’ve seen, solid performance that might blow the minds of Wear OS users, a slick design that comes in both 40mm and 44mm sizes, quick-swap bands, and a fit and finish that will leave you feeling like you are wearing a watch that costs far more than $230.

    Look, I like the Fossil Gen 5, especially at this crazy price, but the Galaxy Watch Active 2 is offering a better overall experience at this time.

    Google’s Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL are discounted again for those who missed out on their Black Friday sale. Currently, you’ll find the Pixel 4 at $100 off and the Pixel 4 XL at $150 off at several retailers. Amazon has the best deal, though, thanks to an added bonus of a free Google WiFi.

    For a limited time, Amazon is selling the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL (64GB versions) with a free Google WiFi unit at $699 and $749, respectively. A 1-pack Google WiFi costs $100 on its own today, so yeah, a free $100 WiFi bonus to help start your home’s first mesh network or expand on one you already own.

    Here is the best Fossil Gen 5 deal.

    Cyber Week deals are wrapping up, but Fossil just posted a fresh deal on smartwatches that when combined with a $50-off coupon code, drops it to its lowest price ever. The Fossil Gen 5, the only Wear OS really worth considering today, can be had for $169.

    At that $169 price, the Fossil Gen 5 is $126 off from its original $295 price. This is a bigger discount than we saw over Black Friday, when the Gen 5 dropped to $185.

    Even though I’ve certainly changed my preference to Samsung’s Galaxy Watch Active 2 as my daily smartwatch, the Fossil Gen 5 is the watch I turn back to when I want Wear OS in my life. It has all of the specs you need for a Wear OS watch to run decently, looks really sharp from a design perspective, and you can make it yours through quick swap 22mm watch bands and a deep catalog of Wear OS watch faces.

    It also has Google Fit integration, Cardiogram heartrate tracking, and a bunch of battery modes that no other Wear OS watch currently has. To help you get through a day and then some, Fossil built out 4 battery modes that let you fine-tune the functionality of the watch. The new battery modes might be the most important addition to the Gen 5, outside of the 1GB RAM.

    The Fossil Gen 5 comes in case colors of stainless steel or black, plus there are a few different watch band types to pair them with at purchase time. But again, you can replace them easily with any 22mm watch band, like my favorite right here.

    We’ve got a great Samsung Galaxy S10 or Galaxy S10+ deal to take us into the weekend. At Best Buy, you can grab either phone with a $400 discount as long as you are cool activating it with Verizon, AT&T, or Sprint.

    At $400 off, a Galaxy S10 with 128GB storage would run you $499, while an upgrade in storage to 512GB would cost $749. Need the Galaxy S10+? You are looking at $599 for the 128GB model, $849 for the 512GB model, and $1,199 for the 1TB version. All are at $400 off.

    This whole activation thing doesn’t seem to be the worst deal. It sure looks like you can sign-up for new service, add a new line, or upgrade to get this $400 off deal. And after all, these are the US unlocked versions of the Galaxy S10 and S10+ that will work on any carrier of your choosing.

    Black Friday and Cyber Monday were supposed to bring the best deals of the holiday season, but we’ve seen some today alone that top last week’s shopping bonanza.     Combined at full price, that’s a $178 value that you are paying $79 for. At their current discounted rates, that’s still $114 value that you are only paying $79 for.

    Misfit kicked off a “Countdown to Christmas” sale today on its website that takes 20% off everything in their store. All you need to use is “HOLIDAY20” at checkout and you will see the price of whatever item you are shopping for, drop. At this time, they either forgot to take off their previous sale or want you to buy their smartwatches for pennies, but that code works on top of other discounts and drops prices incredibly low.

    For example, the brand new Misfit Vapor X, which retails for $279, can be had for $143.99, thanks to a still-active $100 discount and that 20% off code. The Misfit Vapor 2, another of their newer watches, has a similar $100 discount, so the 20% code makes it just $119.99. Oh, and if you want their original Vapor, it’s now $79.99 with code and $100 discount. Kinda crazy!

    It’s tough to know how long you might get those rock bottom prices for. My guess is that those $100 price drops might disappear and you’ll only get the 20%. Be quick with it!

    Walmart probably screwed something up, but if you hurry, you can grab a Google Home Max bundled with a Google Home Mini for $188. Seriously, stop reading and go buy it before it’s gone.

    Still reading? OK, so this deal might not be for long since the Google Home Max by itself is only currently discounted everywhere to $199, including at Walmart. The Home Mini, while on the way out because of the Nest Mini, is still available for purchase at a discounted rate of $19.99. Combining those two most definitely does not add up to $188. I could see buying a Home Max and getting a Mini for free or something, but the two together at a lower price? Whatever, just go for it.

    Google Home Max is awesome. Home Minis are great for random rooms in your house. Happy holidays.

    Xiaomi’s Mi Box S is over a year old now, yet I still kind of can’t believe how inexpensive it is as a full Android TV experience that can do 4K HDR, has DOLBY Audio, and lets you control all the things with built-in Google Assistant. Right now, because of the never-ending string of holiday deals, it’s down to $34.99. That’s basically Chromecast pricing for a full Android TV box experience!

    The Mi Box S comes in a sleek black case that’s powered by a quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, and 8GB storage. You’ll find 1 HDMI 2.0 port on the back, as well as a USB 2.0 port, audio out, and the power plug. It includes a remote with voice and Netflix buttons, as well as various other meaningful controls that it took NVIDIA three generations of boxes to figure out.

    Speaking of NVIDIA and SHIELD TVs, this Mi Box S is no SHIELD TV. This is a quality box that’s incredibly affordable, but it’s no gaming powerhouse. Don’t go into this expecting that level of performance, though this should get the job down for all of your streaming needs.
