This may be last minute, but I think we’ve found the Cyber Monday deal of the day over at Amazon. The ASUS OnHub, Google’s Nexus-like take on a WiFi router that likely helped birth the idea behind Google WiFi, can be yours for just $89.99. That’s $110 off.
What is OnHub? It really is like the Nexus of routers in that Google created this smart WiFi platform, but had other people build the hardware. In this case, it was ASUS, but TP-Link also created one for Google. These routers are controlled via app, are dead simple in terms of control and setup, offer help and solutions when thinks get wonky with your internet, get smarter with automatic software updates, can automate parts of your home through IFTTT, and will work with Google WiFi units to turn your home into the ultimate mesh WiFi network. Handful of Good Amazon Cyber Monday Deals: Moto Z at $499, Nest Outdoor at $169
As I mentioned this morning, most of today’s Cyber Monday deals are leftovers from last week. Since a good portion of the world does their shopping online, Cyber Monday is no longer just a day to sit on your work computer shopping after the hell weekend of Black Friday because you can sit at your computer during the hell weekend of Black Friday and get all of the good deals that used to be in-store only. Cyber Monday Deal: Google Home at Best Buy for $75 With Visa Checkout (Updated)
Google Home has been discounted to $99 for the past few days in celebration of the Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals-fest. However, if you are a VISA Checkout user (free service providing quicker checkout at select retailers like Best Buy), you can land an extra $25 off Google Home when buying from Best Buy. That brings the total price down to around $75.
I would tell you that I have confirmed the discount, but VISA Checkout has been spinning on me at Best Buy’s site for the past hour. You’ll have to take Slickdeals‘ word for this one. (more…)

Cyber Monday Deal: 50% Off Galaxy S7 at Cricket (Just $325)
Cricket’s big Cyber Monday deal appears to be for the Samsung Galaxy S7 at a 50% discount. With a 50% discount, you are looking at a full retail price of just $324.99, which is kind of insane.
The deal is only for new lines at Cricket, but Cricket isn’t exactly saying that you need to keep a line active for very long in order to get the deal. In theory, you could sign-up for a new line to get the discount, then cancel that line after a month and keep the phone for use on another line or AT&T-powered wireless provider. This is the AT&T model of the Galaxy S7 (SM-G930A), according to Cricket, so it should work on networks that are powered by AT&T’s bands.
Cricket says that supplies are limited, so you may want to hurry. (more…)
