    Still haven’t made the jump to an Android tablet?  Would a brand new Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 WiFi with 32GB of storage help you take the leap if you could have it for $529?  That’s eBay’s “Deal Blast” right now which appears to only be valid for the next 4 hours or so.

    We’re huge fans of this uber-lightweight Honeycomb tablet (our hands-on) and would easily recommend the Tab 10.1 to anyone looking to pick up their first or second tablet.  We know that their are quad-cores reportedly on the way, but the performance you’ll see with its dual-core Tegra 2 processor and 1GB of RAM are more than enough to last you for years.

  • Amazon Deal: FREE DROID2 Multimedia Station with Purchase of Car Dock

    If you have been on the lookout for a multimedia dock for either your original DROID, DROID2 or D2 Global, then you may want to check out this new deal from Amazon that popped up over the weekend.  All you have to do is purchase a car dock for the device and they’ll toss in the multimedia station for free.  Actually, it looks like they are just discounting the heck out of both of them to make it look like you are getting one free, but whatever – cheap is cheap, right?

  • Verizon Drops $50 Off of DROID Incredible 2 Price

    In the post we released yesterday with information on the DROID3 and XOOM LTE landing on Big Red’s MAP list, there was also mention of the Incredible 2 seeing some sort of a pricing update.  And according to the updated MAP (minimum advertised price) list that was just sent to us from our friends at Verizon, that update appears to be a price drop of $50 that goes into effect today.

    After quickly checking out VZW’s site, it indeed appears to be available at just $149 right now.  Not a bad deal at all for one of the only phones we’ve truly enjoyed over the last 3-4 months – our review can be found here.  If only someone could find permanent root and HTC would unlock its bootloader…

  • Costco Has The Acer Iconia 32GB Version And Acer Case For $480

    Costco seems to be pumping out the deals on tablets lately. Earlier this week we showed them having the Motorola XOOM for only $500. They’re now dropping prices for the Acer Iconia tablet, and throwing in a $40 Acer tablet case for free. Not too shabby considering the MSRP for the 32GB version is $500 with no case. If you’re thinking about picking one up, you might want to start hitting yourself though, because you missed an amazing deal on eBay where they were just $380.

    With all these crazy deals on Honeycomb tablets, who here is picking one up? And if so, which one? Is everyone still thinking all these tablets are overpriced and lacking features to warrant the hefty price tags? Let us know.

  • Motorola XOOM WiFi Goes On Sale at Costco for $499 Plus Free Gel Case

    Looks like Costco is lowering the price on our beloved Motorola XOOM. (Review) We checked the mobile site and aren’t seeing the new price, so if you’re in the market for a XOOM Wifi this weekend, be sure to head into your local Costco for a great deal on a great tablet. And since they’re throwing in a $20 Gel case, show em’ some love.

    (Update) Just got an email from a reader who was given money back due to Costco’s Price Adjustment Policy. If anyone has bought the XOOM from Costco recently, you better hurry back and get yourself some money.

  • Thumb Keyboard Goes On Sale for $.99 at Amazon

    We’re not sure how long Thumb Keyboard will be on sale at the Amazon Appstore for $.99, but we suggest you jump on it right away.  This is hands down the best app you’ll buy as a tablet owner – that’s no joke.  And even if you don’t own a tablet, you might as well grab it so that it’s locked to your account forever in case you do some day take take the plunge and buy one.
