Not Verizon or DROID-related, but it’s a cheap dual-core Android tablet that’s only available for one day from Woot.com. The ViewSonic gTablet 10.1 running Android 2.2 can be had for just $279 plus $5 for shipping. Not a bad deal right? Before you get too crazy though, it’s my understanding that this tablet isn’t the most hacker-friendly. So if you were planning on grabbing it and then slapping Honeycomb on it, you might be out of luck. Ignore all of that non-hacker-friendly business. It appears as if this device is indeed friendly to the hackz, although some of them may not be as awesome or stable as you’d want them to be. Apologies for the semi-bad info. [more info]

Any of you not pick up an HTC Thunderbolt yet, but have been wanting to for a week now? Now might be a good time. Verizon is sending the email you are seeing above, to select customers (possibly DROIDX and Pro owners) which offers them a TBolt for $149 after an instant $100 discount. The deal doesn’t appear to be regional and could be just going to those with an upgrade available now or at least in the near future. No matter what though, this would be a good thing to print out and show your local store if you are in the market for the first 4G LTE phone on Verizon.

The Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi is approaching faster than I think anyone expected. A pre-sale started this morning at Costco, and now Staples has joined in on the party. As you may remember, our friends at Staples helped us spread a lot of news about this wifi-only XOOM, so we’ve got to show them some love now that the device can finally be ordered. It’s $599, will ship on March 25th, and should arrive on either the 27th or 28th. Yay!
