Motorola fans in Mexico will not only get the new Moto E and Moto G 4G LTE, two phones that Motorola introduced yesterday, they are also getting an exclusive Ferrari Edition of the Moto G. If that sounds odd, it’s not. Motorola has partnered with Ferrari for years on phones, including one last year that the hypebeast train tried to lead everyone into believing was a DROID ULTRA or Moto X. (more…)
Who would have guessed that less than a year after Motorola gave us the Moto X, that we would have a whole family of “Moto” branded phones to compare. I sure didn’t picture it, yet that is exactly what we have. Thanks to last night’s unveiling of the Moto E, we now have three devices in total under the “Moto” name, the third being the previously announced Moto G. A fourth – the Moto 360 – will be here shortly.
Since we have three Moto devices, we decided to take a moment to compare them on camera. The differences here are subtle in some areas, then drastic in others. The Moto X, for example, has flagship features like Active Display and Touchless control, along with customizable options through MotoMaker. The Moto G and Moto E, on the other hand, have minimal software add-ons from Motorola and only swappable shells for customization. (more…)
In case you missed it during last night’s Moto E unveiling, Motorola also announced that the Moto G now has an LTE model called the Moto G LTE. It comes in either white or black, runs on GSM networks (no Verizon model to be found), and costs $219 without a contract. The rest of the package is the same (outside of a newly included micro SD slot). Still, talk about an incredible deal on an LTE smartphone.

So, you remember when Motorola announced the Moto G LTE for $220 with a launch date of June 30? No? OK, neither do I, because that announcement hasn’t come yet. Thanks to an Amazon listing for both white and black models of a “Universal LTE” Moto G variant, one might be coming at any moment. That’s right, an LTE Moto G, which means a Moto G variant that can take advantage of super fast mobile data connections and isn’t locked to just HSPA or CDMA networks. (more…)

Motorola will unveil a new smartphone, though it will likely be the rumored Moto E, which is yet another phone created for emerging markets, much like the Moto G. Don’t believe me?
