You will need to be sure of which build you are running, before you go diving into files included below. Quick Look: Official Nexus Wireless Charger for Nexus 5, 7, and 4
Did you pick up the official Nexus Wireless Charger that went on sale through Google Play yesterday? I can imagine that the $49.99 price tag made some of you hesitate on pulling on the trigger, so as always, we picked one (or two) up to give it a quick spin and share our thoughts. For those not familiar, the Nexus Wireless Charger (NWC) is officially supported by the Nexus 5, Nexus 7 (2013), and Nexus 4, since each has wireless charging built-in. With that said, I would be surprised if this charger didn’t work with other wireless charging-capable devices like the new DROID line. Unfortunately, we don’t have those in house any longer, so we won’t be able to test.

Android 4.4 KRT16O Factory Images and Binaries Released for Nexus 4, All Nexus 7s
After pushing out official Android 4.4 OTA updates to a handful of WiFi Nexus devices earlier in the week, Google has now made factory images and binaries available to even more. As of now, we’ve got Android 4.4 build KRT16O factory image and binary files for the Nexus 4, Nexus 7 2013 (both WiFi and LTE), and Nexus 7 2012 (both WiFi and data). Nothing yet for the Nexus 10, even though its OTA update has already begun to roll out. (more…)

Last night, Google announced that we should start to see Android 4.4 updates for the Nexus 7 (2013) and Nexus 7 (2012) WiFi models, along with one for the Nexus 10. The update as build KRT16O for the 2013 Nexus 7 began pushing last night and is now available for sideloading should it not have popped up on your device yet. Android 4.4 Update Rolling Out to Nexus 7 2012, Nexus 7 2013, and Nexus 10 Starting Tonight
The time has come for owners of both the old and new Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 tablets to update to Android 4.4 aka Kit Kat. The official Twitter account from Google says the updates will begin rolling out tonight, so start mashing those “System Update” buttons inside your Settings menu. (more…)
