Deal: 16GB Nexus 7 (2013) Plus Free Leather Case on Sale for $129 Today Through eBay

We don’t know if Google will ever release another Nexus 7 tablet. In fact, the only rumors of a new Nexus tablet center around an HTC-made device with a metal body and an 8.9-inch display. So if you plan to buy a Nexus 7, like last year’s model, you are quickly running out of time. Google has sold out of almost all versions of the Nexus 7 (2013) through Google Play without re-stocking them for weeks. The only two available are the 32GB LTE model in black or the 16GB WiFi-only version, both of which go in and out of stock on the daily.

If the 16GB WiFi-only version is of interest, hit up eBay’s daily deal today. You can grab a “manufacturer refurbished” 16GB Nexus 7 (2013) for $129, but that also includes a free leather case and free standard shipping. The device retailed brand new for $229. Not a bad deal.

Deal: 16GB Nexus 5 in Black or Red for $329, Plus Free Shipping

A new Nexus phone should be here within the next three months, but if it’s the whale rumors are predicting it to be, you may be better off sticking with last year’s much more manageable Nexus 5. Now isn’t a bad time to consider one either, thanks to a daily eBay deal that has the black or red models with 16GB of storage priced at $329.99.

This is the LG-D820, which is the US-specific variant. It’s also brand new and includes free economy shipping with purchase.

The Nexus 5 with 16GB of storage currently retails for $349 through Google Play, but Google tends to charge an arm and a leg-and-a-half for shipping. If you jump on this deal, you are saving over $20.

Amazon Introduces Same-Day Delivery to 6 New Markets

Not to be outdone by Google, Amazon is expanding its same-day delivery service to additional cities. The company announced that customers in Baltimore, Dallas, Indianapolis, New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington DC may now purchase many items on Amazon and have them delivered in mere hours. Deal: Unlocked HTC One (M8) in Gunmetal Grey for $449, Plus Free Shipping

Been considering the HTC One (M8)? A daily deal running today out of eBay has a price on an unlocked version that is $200 below HTC’s $649 asking price. At $449 (with free shipping) for a “manufacturer refurbished” unit in gunmetal grey, you could be an HTC One (M8) owner.

This model comes with 32GB of storage and should work perfectly on AT&T’s network since it comes “in an AT&T retail box.” Either way, the unlocked version of the M8 does indeed work perfectly on AT&T’s network.

Deal: Nexus 7 (2013) 16GB for $129 on eBay Deals, $100 Off

Another Friday, another deal on the Nexus 7 (2013). In today’s price slashing, you are looking at the 16GB WiFi model for $129, which is $100 cheaper than a brand new retail unit through Google Play. You also get free standard shipping with purchase.

This unit has been “manufacturer refurbished,” so it is not brand new.

This may be the best deal we have seen yet for last year’s Nexus 7-incher. Even though it is a year old, and Google decided not to give us a 2014 model, the N7 is one hell of a tablet that still has at least a good year of updates ahead of it. Keep in mind that this is the version that has an Android L developer preview available to it, in case that interests you.

Deal: Unlocked LG G3 in White, Gold, or Black for $499 on eBay Daily Deals

An unlocked LG G3 popped up today on eBay’s daily deals for $499, which actually seems like a solid price for a brand new phone that works on AT&T (LTE too if the specs on this page are correct).

You can choose from any of the three available colors: white, grey, or gold. This is the G3 that falls under model number D855, which appears to be an international unlocked UK unit, but again, the description lists out that it should work perfectly on AT&T’s GSM and LTE networks. Also, there is a good chance that this phone has built-in wireless charging out of the box. (more…)

Deal: Cheap 32GB Nexus 7 (2013) is Back for $159.99, $110 Off

Nexus 7 (2013) deals seem to be showing up almost daily at pretty incredible prices. Today, is yet another example of the 2013 7-incher seeing a significant discount that you may want to consider if you have yet to jump into the tablet game. For $159.99, with free shipping, you can have the 32GB variant of Google’s popular tablet, which would save you around $110 (regularly $269) over the Google Play retail price. Actually, it will save you more since Google’s shipping costs are never cheap.

The tablet is “manufacturer refurbished,” though, so you are not looking at a brand new device. With that said, keep in mind that some consider refurbished devices to be quite good, since manufacturers have had a chance to button up long-standing issues.

Deal: Nexus 5 16GB for $335, 32GB for $375 in eBay Daily Deals

The Nexus 5 in both 16GB and 32GB variants is on sale today through eBay’s daily deals. The 16GB model in black can be had for as little as $334.99, which is $15 cheaper than you would pay through Google Play. You also get free standard shipping, which would run you $9.99 if ordered from Google directly. The 32GB model in black, white, or red is available for $374.99, which is also $15 cheaper than you would find on Google Play. The same free shipping deal applies.

I know that the Nexus 5 seems to be aging at this point, but for under $400, you won’t find many smartphones this good.
