Since release, the POGO pins on the bottom of the Nexus 10 have gone unused thanks to a lack of accessories that can take advantage of them. In today’s daily deal, eBay is selling an unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 2 with 16GB of internal storage for $589. For comparison’s sake, we can look at Negri Electronics and Expansys USA who are selling imported versions of the same device for $665 and $680, respectively. I’d call $589 quite the steal for such a new phone that’s powered by a quad-core processor, 5.5″ HD display, 2GB RAM and Jelly Bean.
U.S. carriers should announce dates for their variants this week in NYC, but if you want one now, this isn’t a bad option. Understand though, that this isn’t an LTE phone, however, it should work fine on AT&T and T-Mobile.

Today, users of the New York Times application can go grab an update and will see some major UI changes going on inside. They have completely re-vamped the interface with the holo theme and it’s really great looking. Plus one, NYTimes. As for eBay, they’ve been bug fixing ever since the release of version 2.0 and this update looks to better the app’s performance and a few other things. Overall, it’s become much easier to post my Star Wars collectibles for sale ever since 2.0.

There is nothing better in the Android tablet game right now than the Nexus 7. Small, powerful and not expensive, Google really did a good job with this thing and if you are looking to pick one up today’s deal might be the right time for you to do so.
The deal today comes to us from eBay which offers a 16GB Nexus 7, an official ASUS case to go with it and free shipping to boot. Unfortunately these cases will most likely not have the magnetic sleep/wake function that the Nexus 7 makes use of, but it will at least keep your tablet safe. Since it is the 16GB version the price tag runs $249 which is still a very good deal if you want to get a Jelly Bean tablet in your hands.
