Verizon BOGO Deal: Buy an HTC One (M8), Get a Second Free
Verizon not only has an in-store availability exclusive (through April 9) on the new HTC One (M8), but they are also hosting quite the deal for interested parties. For a limited time, starting today at 1PM Eastern, customers will be able to buy the One (M8) and receive a 2nd One (M8) for free, as long as they sign 2-year contracts.

Well, what do you think? Now that HTC has proven that there was no mystery at all behind the HTC One (M8), you can fully decide if you are buying the phone. The decision is more interesting this time around, because it goes on sale today online at all major U.S. carriers, but can also be purchased in-store at Verizon shops. Yes, you can buy this phone today even though it was only announced moments ago.
The price depends on the carrier, with many pushing monthly payment plans. $199 with 2-year contract is the typical price, which includes 32GB of storage.

HTC One (M8) Available Today at 1PM – Online at All Carriers, In-store at Verizon
Just as we exclusively reported yesterday, the all new HTC One (M8) will be on sale today at 1PM Eastern in the U.S. All of the major U.S. carriers will put the device up for sale through their online stores, but Verizon will have some in-stock, in-store today. That’s right, if you want to get your hands on this phone now, you can.
If you don’t want to go to Verizon, all U.S. carriers will have in-store stock within first few weeks of April. Most in-store before April 10.

Google Play Edition of HTC One (M8) Available for Pre-order Today
HTC not only announced the new HTC One (M8) today, but they also confirmed our previous report that a Google Play Edition will be available as well. According to HTC’s press release for the new 2014 flagship, the Google Play Edition will be available for pre-order today and then available in the “coming weeks” on Google Play.
For those new to Google Play Editions, just understand that it’s the same hardware as the regular One (M8), except it’ll run stock Android 4.4.2. So all of HTC’s custom Sense software is removed in favor of a pure Android experience. I’ll let you decide if that’s a good thing or not.
Google will sell the device for $699 (ouch).
