Reported HTC M8 Mini Specs Leaked – 4.5″ 720p Display, 13MP Camera, and On-screen Buttons

Thanks to evleaks, we could be getting our first peak at what the M8 Mini from HTC could have in store for the masses. We have yet to officially see the M8, the successor to the One, as HTC still has not set a date for when it will unveil the new flagship. With Samsung’s Galaxy S5 coming within the next two weeks, HTC better act quick if they want to jump aboard the hypetrain.

According to evleaks, the M8 Mini will be a well-equipped device, even showing signs of a few pretty decent specs. For starters, the phone will reportedly be powered by a Snapdragon 400 processor and 1GB of RAM, feature a 4.5″ 720p display, and come with Android 4.4.2 “Kit Kat” and Sense 6.0. (more…)

HTC M8 and Its Dual-Camera Setup Appears Again, Blurry Cam Front Shots Too

I’d imagine you remember the picture last week of the HTC One follow-up that showed an ~~awkwardly questionable~~ interesting dual-camera setup? Well, we have new images of the HTC M8 with blurry-cam close-ups of those same cameras, the frontside of the phone, and the on-screen buttons. It looks a whole heck of a lot like the original One, so hopefully HTC has something magical in store to make this a bigger success. (more…)

@evleaks Gives Us the First Look at the HTC M8 Home Screen, On-screen Buttons Included

Rumors about the HTC One follow-up (known internally as the M8) having on-screen navigation buttons first circulated at the end of January through a Tweet by industry leaker, @evleaks. This afternoon, he’s backed up that report by Tweeting a purported home screen picture from the device, showing that it does indeed have on-screen navigation buttons. (more…)

Report: HTC Wins Contract to Produce High-End Nexus Tablet Later This Year

Up until we have started to hear all of these rumors about HTC’s upcoming M8 device, the news surrounding the company has been a little dark. Earlier today, we heard that HTC’s plans for this upcoming year are big ones, which could include wearables alongside a new device. The plans could be even bigger than we thought, with a new report suggesting that HTC could make the next Nexus tablet. (more…)

Real or Fake, These Purported HTC M8 Images are Hot

This afternoon, Russian site MobilTelefon posted the images included in this post of what are said to be of the follow-up to the HTC One, known internally as the HTC M8. Are they real or fake? I couldn’t tell you off hand, as we have seen some brilliant fake jobs in our time. What I will say instead, is how much I would love to see this become a reality. We’re talking a similar design to the heavily praised HTC One, but with tweaks that take it over-the-top. (more…)

Potential HTC One Successor Pictured in the Wild With Dual-rear Cameras

This may be one of the first looks at the follow-up to the HTC One, currently codenamed M8. As you can tell from the image, it looks quite similar to the One, except for those two tiny differences. We’re seeing a dual-LED flash along with a dual-rear camera setup. The rest, well, looks like a One.

Newest Leak Suggests HTC M8 Looks “Strikingly” Like the One, Will Launch Late March

Over the weekend, plenty of new rumors dropped on the interwebs for the HTC M8, the successor of the HTC One. Leading the charge is evleaks, who posted two separate tweets surrounding the M8; one regarding its looks and another concerning the launch of the device. According to the tweets, the “M8 looks strikingly like the M7 (One),” and we should see a launch of the device in New York City around late March. (more…)

HTC M8, Successor to the One, Will Launch in Four Colors According to Newest Rumor

According to the newest rumor, which originated on Twitter from XDA’s TV producer Shen Ye, the HTC M8 (the One successor) will come in four different colors on launch day. The tweet features four different color codes, representing the colors red, blue, dark grey (black), and light grey (silver). These same colors were used on the original One from HTC, but the blue appears to be a bit lighter than the darker blue which was used on the One a few months after the device launched. (more…)
