It has been over a month since we last did a rumor round-up, but since things are going to get wild starting tomorrow and then on through the month of September, we thought it was the perfect time to bring this series back. Motorola has big plans for next week, Samsung has a Note 2 on the way, there are Nexus rumors with manufacturer names attached, HTC still has a 1080p phone out there, and LG has a number of devices in the works. Motorola DROID RAZR M Details Leak, It Really is a Mid-range Device With Decent Specs
Here is the phone that Motorola plans to unveil on September 5 in New York. Well, we hope this isn’t it. It’s called the DROID RAZR M. According to full specs and details that leaked out today, this phone is exactly as we expected it to be, with a 4.3″ qHD Super AMOLED display with ColorBoost, 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 1GB RAM, 8MP rear camera, 3MP front camera, 4G LTE, on-screen navigation keys, NFC, Gorilla Glass 2, and Ice Cream Sandwich. Verizon Expected to Announce the Motorola DROID M in the Coming Weeks, a Mid-range Phone for $149
Verizon and Motorola are gearing up to announce the DROID M, a mid-range device that you can see pictured above. The device was previously only known by the name XT907, but we also referred to it as the RAZR Mini. It passed through the FCC not long ago, and should sport a qHD display, 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 4G LTE and NFC. Verizon Reportedly Blocks Vacations in September Because of iPhone 5 Launch, Poor Motorola
According to TechCrunch, Verizon has blocked employees from taking vacations between September 21 and September 30 because the next iPhone will launch during that time. Their source didn’t specifically mention that the iPhone was indeed launching on the 21st, but since everyone is expecting Apple to announce the phone on September 12, a launch of a week later matches up to previous releases. Mini DROID RAZR XT907 Cruises Through FCC With Verizon 4G LTE
The Motorola XT907, which we have decided to call the “Mini RAZR,” cruised through the FCC today, sporting Verizon’s 4G LTE bands and NFC. We first saw this device pictured through a Chinese part site just over a month ago. Once you go look at that picture, you’ll know why we are calling it the “Mini” and expect it to be a mid-range phone. (more…)

Motorola XT907 Appears With Verizon and 4G LTE Branding – Little Brother to the RAZR HD?
Time to fire up the rumor engines on another yet-to-be-released Motorola phone, this time for the XT907. “What is the XT907,” you ask? Well, according to the picture above of a housing for the device, it looks like yet another RAZR-ish phone headed to Verizon with 4G LTE radios inside. It sports an HD camera, that same kevlar backing we have seen on a number of Moto devices, and looks a bit like a mash-up of the RAZR HD and the new Atrix HD. (more…)
