This past February, Google conducted a mass exodus of nearly 60,000 “spam” apps from Google Play. The apps were violating certain terms of services that are put in place for developers, such as not posting repetitive content, misleading product descriptions, or apps that attempt to drive affiliate traffic. Hazard Rush for Android, Looks Like Asteroids But Plays Like Snake
Here is a fun little game that is sure to be your next addiction. It’s called Hazard Rush and is described as being half Snake and half Geometry Wars. While I never played Geo Wars, I have played plenty of Snake in my younger years and the game looks more like Asteroids to me. Anyways, you play as a little space ship, collecting stars and avoiding asteroids. As you would guess, with the more stars you collect, the harder the levels become. (more…)

Madfinger Games Releases Shadowgun: DeadZone 2.0 Update – Includes New Maps and Weapons (Updated)
DeadZone, the multiplayer version Madfinger Games’ Shadowgun, received an update to version 2.0 today, a day earlier than expected. The company has been teasing the update for weeks and even posted up an official release photo which included a date of April 4. We aren’t sure what happened, but the update is live right now. While we have

I have been thinking to myself recently how there just isn’t enough Angry Birds games for Android. Wouldn’t it be swell if Rovio kept them coming? Well, looks like they have read my mind and announced in Finland at a developers meetup that they are bringing their popular (60 million installs popular) Facebook game, Angry Birds Friends to Android and iOS. Aftermath XHD for Android, a 3rd Person Zombie Kill ’em All Game
Let’s keep the zombie game madness rolling with this new entry, Aftermath XHD. The game is a third person shooter, having you play as a lone survivor who is equipped with nothing but a flashlight to begin with. While exploring, you equip a pistol and the killing begins. OUYA Officially Begins Shipping to Early Backers, 104 Games Already Published
That’s right, the OUYA has official begun shipping to early backers from Kickstarter, just as they said it would. Should you have forked out the cash to be amongst the initial group, get to checking your email for shipping info and instructions for operating the little guy once it arrives. The rollout of devices will happen over the next several weeks. For the rest of you who jumped on the bandwagon after OUYA became an internet sensation, you’ll have to wait a bit longer.
