Allo Update Brings Animated Emoji, One Tap Launching of Google Assistant
Allo, Google’s messenger application whose target audience is the size of Rhode Island, is receiving an update today that makes it easier to launch Google Assistant. The update will also add animated emoji and make GIF searching more fun. I say “fun” because there are swipes involved. Swipe are fun, right?

Google Announces YouTube TV Streaming Service, Starts at $35/Month
At an event in Los Angeles today, Google unveiled YouTube TV. The service, which is not yet available or even ready to be demoed by press, is a live TV streaming service, similar to what you see from AT&T’s DIRECTV NOW and Sony’s PlayStation Vue. In addition to live TV, though, it offers access to the entirety of YouTube Red Originals, meaning its not exactly short on digital content. (more…)

Want to Recreate the LG G6’s Rounded Display on Your Phone? There’s an App for That!
The LG G6 introduces a display with rounded corners, something we aren’t exactly used to seeing on many Android devices. With that said, I’ve been using the G6 as my daily driver for the past 2 days, and so far, I’m digging the round corners. Google Spaces Doesn’t Last a Year, Shutting Down on April 17
